Magic Foherb 3.0 bioenergy massager: how it works and who it's for

A bioenergy massager is a device that combines several types of massage. The Magic Foherb 3.0 by WHIEDA has four: impulse, laser, vacuum and heat. Here is how each mode works, which areas you can massage and what a session at home looks like.
What a bioenergy massager is
The name sounds complicated, but the idea is simple. The device sends a weak alternating current, and the massage is done by hand wearing conductive gloves. The person giving the massage becomes part of the circuit: the impulse passes through the palms, and familiar movements such as stroking, kneading and rubbing work together with the microcurrents.
The manufacturer describes impulse mode as reproducing physiotherapy methods of traditional Chinese medicine: acupuncture, rubbing and other types of massage. Besides the impulse, Magic Foherb 3.0 has laser, vacuum and heat, so one device at home replaces several.
The four modes of Magic Foherb 3.0
Impulse massage: 99 levels
This is the main mode. Intensity adjusts from 1 to 99, so you can start with a barely noticeable tingle and increase it gradually. The massage is done by hand with gloves and suits both the face and the body.
According to the manufacturer, the impulse relaxes tense muscles, eases fatigue and discomfort and helps improve circulation. At low intensity it is used as a cosmetic massage: it tones the skin, makes it firmer and more elastic and improves complexion.
650 nm laser
The low-intensity 650 nm laser works in two modes, pulsed and continuous. It is used to warm the nasal cavity, ears and throat. The manufacturer says the laser relieves symptoms of ear infections, sinusitis and colds and reduces inflammation, swelling and pain.
Vacuum massage: 5 levels
Vacuum works like cupping and gua sha. The pressure difference stimulates subcutaneous tissue, muscles and nerves, activates lymphatic drainage and helps you relax deeply. Marks may stay on the skin after the treatment; Chinese medicine calls this “releasing Sha”.
Heat massage: 5 levels
Heat makes the massage more pleasant and deeper. Warmth penetrates subcutaneous tissue and speeds up circulation and metabolism. The manufacturer recommends this mode for the abdomen, for poor digestion and for chilled pelvic organs and limbs.

Massage with gloves: why it's convenient
With most massagers, vibration or current goes through an attachment. With Magic Foherb 3.0 the main tool is your hands. The gloves connect to the device with the impulse cable, and your palms become electrodes. You can do an ordinary hand massage: feel the muscles, change the pressure and work your fingers over small areas of the face and neck.
The device itself is cordless: it runs on a battery and charges on its base. It is compact, easy to keep at home and take on trips.
Which areas you can massage
- Face and neck. Low-intensity impulse with gloves. In the morning to refresh the face and reduce puffiness, in the evening to unwind after the day.
- Neck and shoulders. A relaxing massage after working at a computer or a long drive.
- Back. Impulse massage with gloves, vacuum and heat.
- Abdomen and thighs. Vacuum and heat massage.
- Legs. Impulse and vacuum.
Who Magic Foherb is for
People buy the device to massage at home when it suits them rather than fitting into a salon's schedule. Most often these are people with desk jobs whose neck, shoulders and back are tired by evening. Also people recovering after sport, and those who care for their face and want a home alternative to cosmetic massage.
The manufacturer's materials list other effects of bioenergy massage: better circulation and metabolism, removal of toxins, higher cellular activity and immunity, a balanced autonomic nervous system and better sleep, less swelling and pain.
What a session at home looks like
- Apply the massage cream; it comes in the set.
- Prepare the device as the manual describes: connect the gloves or the attachment you need.
- Choose a mode.
- Start at the lowest intensity.
- Move smoothly as you massage and raise the level while it stays comfortable.
- Clean the device afterwards.
One session takes 10–15 minutes. The impulse should not hurt: if it feels unpleasant, lower the level.
How often you can massage
Many people use the device every day for about 15 minutes: it is always at hand, vacuum today, laser tomorrow. A typical course is 30 sessions followed by a 7–10 day break. Results vary and depend on your body and how regularly you use it.
What's in the set
The box contains the massager, charging base, adapter with cable, conductive gloves, and impulse and laser cables. Two creams come with them: Herbal Massage Cream, 160 g, and TCM Recovery Cream, 100 g. The massage cream gives a good glide and contains plant extracts, grape seed oil, vitamin E and sodium hyaluronate. The energy cream helps keep the skin moisturised and comfortable.

Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
No. Impulse intensity adjusts from 1 to 99. Start at the lowest comfortable level and increase it gradually.
Can I massage my face?
Yes. For the face, use impulse mode with the gloves at low intensity, as the manual describes.
Do I need special creams?
You need a product that provides contact and glide. Two creams are already included in the set.
How is a bioenergy massager different from a regular massager?
A regular massager usually does one thing: it vibrates, taps or warms. Magic Foherb 3.0 has four technologies, and the impulse massage is done by hand, so the device suits both the body and delicate areas of the face.
